Barbara Rogan is an author who wanted her website to be a little different, which was a perfect opportunity to try an idea I’d been thinking about for a while. We looked at the work of several artists and Barbara fell in love with the work of Elizabeth Fraser, which reflected Barbara’s own love of the sea. Elizabeth was contacted and a painting was commissioned; the website was built around Elizabeth’s painting.

The North West Houston Chapter of the Romance Writers of America wanted a simple, effective and easy to navigate site with a membership management system, automated competition entry form and fee-collection, members-only area and members forum - all in a tight budget (NWHRWA are a non-profit organisation) and in a tight deadline. This is what they got.
